About Us


Our Origin

1984: Founded by Tan Chong Yian in Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, Malaysia as C.Y. Courier & Forwarding Co. Sdn. Bhd.

1986: Formed a joint venture with Tan Sri Abdul Samad Ismail and Mohamed Ali Noordin, setting the foundation for growth.


Transformation & Expansion

1991: Rebranded to “ABX Express” upon becoming the sole Malaysian agent for Airborne Express INC (Seattle, USA).

2002: Established ABX Corporation Sdn. Bhd. as a holding company to consolidate its brand agents and acquire UTS Logistic Sdn. Bhd. in Sabah.


Strategic Growth

2016: Joined Kerry Logistics Network (KLN), enhancing regional logistics capabilities.

2021: Appointed as the global agent of SF Express, officially launching our international express services under the KEX Express brand.

2025: Reinstated the ABX Express brand, reflecting our renewed commitment to delivering enhanced service quality for both local and international markets.
